“Seymour Road Water Damage” — July 10, 2024 storm event
The cross-road culvert, south side
Mar 31, 2023 — a drainage outlet discharging a concentrated flow onto the property; standing water beyond.
Jul 10, 2024 — the yard under sheet-flow during a storm event (video still).
Apr 2, 2025 — stormwater sheeting across the front yard and over the driveway.
Aug 2024 — TWO culverts installed under the driveway at the pond (capacity doubled at private expense).
The ditch line — trees the project's contractor missed (plans printed too faintly); cleared at the owner's expense.
Jul 2026 — the driveway culvert, crushed under a loaded flood-repair delivery after the project left it with too little soil cover.
Jun 2026 — the new cross-road culvert (set lower than before), discharging east onto private land.
Jun 2026 — parcel 10-10-400-023: the driveway culvert was removed and the west ditch left unrestored.
6463 Seymour — the basement sump outlet, directly in the enlarged discharge path.
The Road Commission's OWN brochure (gcrc.org): “Provide sufficient cover over culvert… maintain the existing water flow” and “Do not fill any ditches! They are a necessary part of the road system.”

What “zero cover” does — the pipe manufacturer (ADS) confirmed in writing that culverts on this project were installed with less than minimum cover, voiding the warranty: “this pipe will fail.”
